show time percentages for a single process
I'm running Sysprof 46.0 on Ubuntu 24.04.
It's great that Sysprof can profile a whole system. However usually I'm interested in the performance of a single process, and I'd like to view percentages of time spent only in that process. In the call tree I can find the process I'm interested in, and select "Make function root" to see only that process in the tree. That's nice. However, after that I still see time percentages for the system as a whole. Instead, after I run "Make function root" I'd like the root of the tree to be displayed as 100%, and to see all percentages relative to that.
I can imagine other ways of making this possible - e.g. capturing data for only a single process, or proving another UI mechanism that zooms in on a single process and ignores all others. In any case this functionality would be very useful for me.
