Enhancement Request: store intermediate scanning result on filesystem in the disk.
I have asked https://discourse.gnome.org/t/simple-scan-document-scanner-how-intermediate-scanning-data-is-stored/19346 and aware that simple-scan
store all intermediate result in RAM.
But for continuous-feed scanner (scanning 10000 pages without pausing). Then it will cause computer run out of memory and the operating system will be either shutdown or kill the simple-scan
process.
It would be good to dump the intermediate result into permanent storage. In comparison with RAM, permanent storage really much bigger. With this enhancement, it will make simple-scan
have more advantages in long document scanning.
