"Corrupt JPEG data" Crash
I'm experiencing a crash running simple-scan 40.7 on debian sid. Hardware is a Epson ES-50 connected via USB to a MNT Reform laptop (a 64bit ARM machine.) I get the error: Corrupt JPEG data: found marker 0xd9 instead of RST6
full debug log attached: simple-scan-20220215-094009.log
I think this started erroring out consistently after this upgrade in sid: simple-scan:arm64 (40.6-1, 40.7-1),
Similar thing happens on master:
elektron@reform:~/code/simple-scan$ XDG_DATA_DIRS=_install/share:$XDG_DATA_DIRS ./_install/bin/simple-scan --debug 2>&1| tee ~/simple-scan-master-$(date +%Y%m%d-%H%M%S).log
simple-scan-master-20220215-100923.log
In 40.6 I experience the crash only intermittently, for instance the following two logs after building from the 40.6 tag:
simple-scan-40.6-20220215-101335.log
simple-scan-40.6-20220215-101409.log
After the first crash, re-plugging the usb device, and restarting the application, simple-scanner then works :-/
