It would sure increase the amount of people testing trunk (or very close to it).

- Priority set to High
Jorge Castro from Canonical emailed us a couple of weeks back and said they were considering setting up a PPA with a nightly build of Shotwell. That would be great.

Progress report: We've got the UI and the infrastructure in place, here's what a test setup I made looks like.
https://code.edge.launchpad.net/~jorge/+recipe/shotwell-daily
Please note the recipe. I basically take “lp:shotwellâ€, which is your imported SVN (updates about every 6 hours) and then I take the existing Ubuntu packaging and merge it into trunk.
Currently you have to go in there and click the button to ask for a build, so they're not automated yet. Currently this is living in my namespace on lp, when it's all finished and we know it works we can move it under the proper Yorba team. Documentation is here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DailyBuilds

Dropping to medium since this isn't gating our 0.7 release. Would still be nice to have, though. :)

I'm taking this one, as we decided it would be a good starting place for the Geary version of this ticket, #4168 (closed)
My "testbed" for this (ppa and recipe) is here:
