Original description:
On Windows, Shotwell looks like a program from the 90's written in Turbo C++. We should update its theme to match the current Windows look. (We know this is possible since gedit on Windows looks slick.)

I fixed this without writing a line of code. The binary distribution of Vala for Windows includes GTK, but it turns out that the distribution omits the Windows theme. I had to copy in the Windows theme files from the standard Windows GTK distribution, and also had to create a gtkrc file in /etc/gtk-2.0 indicating that the Windows theme should be the default (gedit on Windows has a similar gtkrc file).
