Original author: Adam Dingle
Original description:
The Mac port of Shotwell doesn't currently persist settings since it has no GConf; instead it just caches settings in memory. We should get GConf working in Shotwell on Mac OS; this must be possible since gedit on Mac OS evidently uses GConf.

A working Mac port will not happen in the foreseeable future, so I'm marking this and other Mac bugs as wontfix. If we decide to take on a Mac port in the future, we can reopen these as appropriate after assessing the state of GTK on the Mac at that time.
