Original description:
In our code, we intend for the default slideshow delay to be 5 seconds (Config.SLIDESHOW_DELAY_DEFAULT == 5). But if you run Shotwell on a machine where you've never set the slideshow delay, you'll get a slideshow with a 1-second delay. This happens because in Config.get_slideshow_delay(), when the slideshow/delay GConf key is undefined, client.get_float() doesn't throw an error; it simply returns 0.0.
