press Page Down

press Down arrow
It would be nicer, if pressing page down would select the image in the same position.

I'm not so sure that we want to implement this. The user might want to select a few photos, scroll downward, and then Ctrl+select a few more, so it might be best not to destroy the selection when the user presses Page Down.
Additionally, in the icon view in Nautilus, pressing Page Down scrolls the viewport but does not change the selection, and it's nice for Shotwell and Nautilus to be consistent (we want Shotwell to behave similarly to other GNOME applications in general).
