private photos or library
Please describe the problem you are trying to solve
I would like to load pictures and mark them as private. The effect of this marking is that these photos will disappear from the normal library, while still be present in a dedicated area accessibile only using a password.
This is something already present in at least some Android derivatives, like Oxygen OS. I think that in Android, the photos are stored on an encrypted partition, but I am not requesting this kind of implementation. It may be enough to store these pictures encrypted with gpg, or in a compressed/encrypted archive, or anything else. The important part is that these photos would not be available in shotwell without a password prompt.
It is important that the existence of these photos should not be disclosed until the password is entered, i.e., there should be no evidence that some photos have been encrypted. In fact, on Android, the user should go the albums, then select the private area, then insert the password, and only at that point he/she may see if any picture is stored in a private zone. While browsing the list of these pictures, the unencrypted pictures are not visible. They are separate libraries.
