Description
Lot of softwares allow to create wallpaper slideshows:
- Wallch http://sourceforge.net/projects/wall-changer/ (the one I'm using)
- Shotwell http://askubuntu.com/questions/134/how-do-i-create-a-desktop-wallpaper-slideshow/120965#120965
- LiveWallpaper http://www.clapico.com/2013/02/24/livewallpaper/
- the Gnome Extension BackSlide https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/543/backslide/
Before Gnome-Shell 3.8, I was happy to see my wallpaper synchronized between my desktop and my lock screen, because it has always seemed logic for me.
I'm just asking you to add a checkbox, a button or whatever to allow to sync the current user's wallpaper with his lockscreen: it would be nice! That was the only moment when I could see my wallpapers, because I always maximize my windows.
Please, just take care about give a no-blocking solution to let the wallpaper changer working on the lock screen again.
In 2011, an user opened a ticket to ask to split the configuration for the desktop and the lock screen wallpaper, because of privacy https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649769 . I think that my suggestion complies with it.
