Original description:
This may be same bug as #4834 (same symptoms but on a network drive as opposed to a local NTFS drive) but I cannot find it specifically stated.
I have Lenovo Thinkpad Edge running 64-bit Mint 13, dual boot with (rarely used) Windows 7 Pro.
Most data is stored on Windows NTFS drive D where it is accessible to both systems.
On Ubuntu I formerly successfully kept my (earlier version of) Shotwell photo library on drive D.
On Mint 13 & Shotwell 0.12.3 I can select the drive-D folder location, which is correctly mounted, in Preferences but it reverts immediately to "Pictures".
Space on my home drive is limited.
I cannot experiment further with Shotwell as it threatening to "Auto import". As I do not know, and have not found exactly what that will do or how to stop it, I dare not let the execution continue.
Related issues:
- related to shotwell - 4834: Cannot use NFS share as library (Open)
- related to shotwell - 5750: Shotwell hangs almost everytim I use it (Fixed)
- related to shotwell - 6072: Import (linking photos) stops (NTFS) (Open)
