Original description:
A GNOME goal is for apps to port to GStreamer 1.0:
I don't think we want to implement this for 0.13 since we want to stay compatible with (for example) Ubuntu 12.04, which doesn't have GStreamer 1.0. This would be a good task for Shotwell 0.14.

- File 0001-Port-to-GStreamer-1.0.patch added
In celebration of today's release of GStreamer 1.0, here is a port of Shotwell.
You probably want to do #ifdefs for 0.13 because Gnome 3.6 will depend on GStreamer 1.0 and you link against WebKit which uses GStreamer 1.0 also.

Thanks for the patch! Shotwell 0.13.0 has been released already, but we should possibly include this in 0.13.1. Lucas, please review.

After discussion with Jim, we've decided to postpone the move to the GStreamer 1.0 API until 0.14.
