Original description:
It might be nice if the user could conveniently launch external command-line tools on photos in the Shotwell library. This is somewhat similar to launching an external editor, but the user could conceivably configure Shotwell to know about several external tools and launch any of them on one or more photos at once. In other words, this could work roughly like gedit's External Tools plugin.
