I'm unable to reproduce this in ten tries; here are the steps I took:
- Import an image into F-Spot.
- Close F-Spot.
- Move the image from where F-Spot copied it to on import.
- Launch Shotwell.
- Invoke the F-Spot import feature.
When I do this, instead of a crash, I receive an error message telling me the image from step one couldn't be imported due to a hardware failure (which is expected behaviour).
Was there anything else unusual about the import? Could you send us the entire log and a few sample files?
