Original description:

A couple of very innocuous pictures that failed to import. One might recognise Berlin and Taipei.
Created a shotwell log, but didn't get any errors in it. Command-line shows:

- Category set to 4
- Priority changed from Normal to High
- Target version set to 0.12
Even though this is reported against an older version, it's 100% reproducible with the attached JPEGs in current trunk, too. Increasing priority and setting target version.

- Tracker changed from Bug to Bite-sized
- Priority changed from High to Normal
I had to add some debug to find the reason. When Shotwell attempts to decode these files to produce thumbnails, this error is thrown:
Invalid JPEG file structure: two SOF markers
The call I traced this to is the reader.scaled_read() call in ThumbnailCache.generate_for_photo().
Eye of GNOME loads this file without complaint, as does Firefox, so there must be something we can do to get around this.

Since the attached JPEGs are MPF-type files, this issue is relevant: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=694832
