Original description:
Perform a Search to "Match all of the following". The first row should be
"Tag" "contains" "<tag name 1>
". The second row should be "Tag" "does not
contain" "<tag name 2>
". The search returns results that contain "<tag name
1>" and does not apply the second constraint to eliminate some photos.

This is a duplicate of #3659 (closed), actually.

I do not fully agree that this is a duplicate: you can't workaround the same way as in #3659 (closed) so searching for images tagged 'foo' and not tagged 'bar' at all still seems impossible as of now - just my 2 cents on this ongoing discussion. More of a missing feature though ...

I still think this is a duplicate of #3659 (closed) - it's just a more complicated example including another search constraint. It's true that with this extra constraint no workaround is possible today. But fixing #3659 (closed) will fix this too.

As stated I'm classifying this one as a missing feature while #3659 (closed) isn't. Considering both an effect of design none is a bug so in this spirit I totally agree that this is a duplicate.
From the discussion on #3659 (closed) I didn't get that this is considered a bug eventually and will be fixed to work like most people would assume it to do. I'm really looking forward to see it happen introducing this missing feature as well :)
