When selecting a month in the left bar the menu bar flashes (disappears and reappear) the first time.
This seems to be related to 2592

./shotwell --version

Thanks for the bug report. You said that you're running GNOME 3 on Ubuntu 11.04. Normally 11.04 comes with only GNOME 2. How have you installed GNOME 3 - from a PPA?

Running GNOME 3 is however not without bugs (mostly hangups) although this issue with the menubar in Shotwell always happen.

Setting to default milestone for this product, "---". Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
