Original description:
It can be somewhat hard to explain, but consider situation like this.
You want to move some photos to other collection. You select them: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/865508/Workspace%201_238.png
Then you drag and drop them to event you want (it's called "screenshots", but in russian) and get back to this collection to continue moving your photos: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/865508/Workspace%201_239.png
So what you see here is that no photo is "marked", and if you start moving your cursor -- it will start moving from the beginning of collection, which is a little annoying. So it would be a really handy if it would instead just do this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/865508/Workspace%201_240.png
Thank you. (if you think that bugs like this should not be created in future -- tell me, I won't)

UPD: what's even more important -- when you mark some photo and press "delete" -- it should put cursor to next photo too.
p.p.s.: "edit" button in this redmine is somehow broken

In performing an analogous operation with Nautilus, it doesn't select a remaining file, but it does highlight it (which means it can be selected by pressing Space). Shotwell doesn't have a notion of a highlight, only selection.
However, when you delete photos with Shotwell, it does move the cursor to the next remaining file, so the behavior should be similar here too.
