Original description:
I use two different databases on my PC with shotwell, switching between them by starting shotwell for the first database, all thumbs and phots.db stored in .shotwell, the second by starting shotwell -d .shotwell_second, with all the files stored in .shotwell_second.
The problem is: The settings like the picture directory etc., which I change
in shotwell, are the same for both versions. So if I change the settings after
starting shotwell -d .shotwell_second for example with the picture director
"/second" I have the same settings after starting shotwell (with the database
and thumbs in .shotwell). So I have to change the settings to "/first" before
importing - and if I use the second database again, I have to change it back.
It would be better, if all settings for shotwell are stored in the database directory (.shotwell or .shotwell_second), so I could really use two different databases with two different settings.
