I've just realised that if I go to Adjust Date/Time the calendar appears placed on the right date (the real date). So the problems it's just on the photo info and on the events.

Hi there,
I have exactly the same issue, using Shotwell in catalan in my Ubuntu system shows wrong date for the events.
Let me know if I can help in some way.

- Target version set to 0.11
Since this bug occurs only in Catalan (as confirmed by several users) I bet it's simply an incorrect formatting code in one of the Catalan strings. Given that, the fix will probably be easy, so it would be nice to look at this for 0.11 at least.

Hi,
just for clarification. The problem is with ubuntu 12.04 and Debian Testing (Linux Mint Debian, to be strictly right). With shotwell 0.11.x event dates were ok. This issue appeared again since 0.12.x.
I can't do code programming but I can test anything you need or send to you some configuration.
cheers,
Xavi

I've written wrong information about Ubuntu 12.04. What happens with this distro is with catalan ís:
-version 0.12.3 (default distro version) has right event dates
-version 0.13.x (from yorba ppa) has wrong event dates
sorry about that

I no longer see this with Shotwell 0.14.0pr1 on Ubuntu 13.04. Closing as worksforme. If observed on your system, feel free to re-open.

I've tested 0.14 into Ubuntu 12.04 using English, Spanish and Catalan. In English all events were ok but not in Catalan neither Spanish. Same issue in Spanish and Catalan. See attached picture.

I just fixed this for Catalan. If you want the fix, you can pull from git master and build from source. Thank you so much for pointing this out to us. The problem was a very subtle error in a format string in the Catalan language translation file.

Just to confirm: we don't see this in the Spanish translation on 0.14. If you see a problem with the es_ES locale, you may be sourcing your translation files from the wrong place. Let us know. We're here to help! The attached screenshot ("Event Names Spanish.png") shows what I see in Spanish running a freshly installed Shotwell 0.14.0.

Hi all,
I can confirm that compiling from source on Precise (12.04) all events are ok with catalan. Same in spanish.
About prior test, I may did something wrong with locale...
