Original description:
This was filed downstream at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/source/shotwell/bug/770051 :
Left panel of Shotwell lists dates, aka events, inside folders. For each date, in the Spanish language version of Shotwell, a nonsense pseudo Spanish phrase says, e.g., “abr 14 de jue de 2011â€. This should read “jue 14 de abr de 2011â€. This happens for every date, in every folder, in the left panel os Shotwell in Spanish.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and Shotwell 0.7.2-0ubuntu2, both in Spanish.
Still occurs in trunk.

The Ubuntu translators fixed this in Transifex. Closing.
If we do release 0.9.4 we should merge this fix in.
