Option "open with file manager" does not mark the file

Hej, this is what I consider a bug:
If one uses the option “open with file manager†from the right-click-menu, the file is not marked in the newly opened file manager window.
So one has always look up the filename again and search for it in the opened folder. The file should be marked direktly.
(And if it works, maybe the same function should be usable for more than one file a time if they are located in the same directory)

As I know it's impossible in Nautilus (GNOME). I don't see such feature anywhere at least.
