When only exported a handful of photos, the export time is so quick the progress dialog doesn't show anything interesting to the user. It should be smarter, only appearing if a certain amount of time has elapsed.

I've committed the patch. Our apologies for not noticing sooner. We're hoping to modify Trac soon to report when patches are attached to a ticket: #390 (closed). Until then, please let us know by adding a note when you upload a patch.
I made one change to your code: I set the timeout to 500ms rather than 1000ms, as users can be impatient some times. If we notice it's too short, we can bump the value up.

Unknown Component Using default product and component set in Parameters Unknown version " in product shotwell. Setting version to "!unspecified". Unknown milestone "unknown in product shotwell. Setting to default milestone for this product, "---". Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
Resolution: RESOLVED FIXED
