Original description:
Shotwell can send one photo to bibble ( right click-> open in raw editor)
According to bibble 5.1.1 manual § 10.5, bibble can be sent the name of a text file containing a list on photo file names.
It would be great to
-
enable contect menu "open in raw editor" for when multiple phpts are selected
-
create a workqueue containing the names of the selected pictures.
I'm willing to help but please point me to the place in the code I need to study to
-
enable context menu when pictures are selected
-
retrieve the list of selected pictures

In CollectionPage.vala, you want to look at on_external_edit_raw(). This is the signal handler that launches the editor. If you examine this function and the code that connects it to the action, you'll see how to enable/disable context menu and so forth. You'll need to refactor some of the code in Photo.launch_editor() to work with multiple photo files. If you factor this code out, it should go in DesktopIntegration.vala.
One problem is that unless all RAW editors support this method, the new code will be specific to Bibble. You might consider how to make this work for all (or most) RAW editors.
