I have found out that when photos are retouched, they are not automatically saved to a local folder unless we try to open it with an external editor afterwards.
It would be nice to have the option to instantly save the modified version of the photo to the disk; still with an extra extension, like “_modifiedâ€.
Indeed, I find the tools for retouch in ShotWell very handy and fast (like shadows, saturation, exposition, …) , and I want to use it as my default retouch program, and make these changes instantly available to my other programs (like building a photo album with Pixum EasyBook).
