Original description:
A suggestion from Florian Manach:
-
Give the same title to multiple files : It's impossible as far as I know and it's a pain to add the same title to my 300 photos of the Eiffel Tower.
-
Preset the title with the event name : as an option, just for people who don't want to entitle their 5 kilophotos.

Seconded!
Implementation suggestion:
Don't distinguish between single-photo selections and multiple-photo selections. I.E. do not gray-out “edit titles†in the right-click/edit menu.
Internally you could implement this by looping the edit-action over all selected items. This way you don't even need a separate code-path for the single-photo-selection case, since that is just a selection of length-1.
(I haven't looked at your code, but I guess you could borrow heavily from the “remove tag from photos†code path)
