Original description:
As the title, I think a nice feature may be a possibility to change the preview mode events pressing Alt + Scroll Mouse. Something like the ability to scroll the colors of the folders in Docky.

- Subject changed from Alt+Scroll for change thumbnails in event view to Alt/Shift+Scroll for change thumbnails in event view
Course can be any other key, such as the shift, but the wheel should be.
Sorry for the fast replay

MastroPino,
unfortunately I don't understand your suggestion. If I hold down Alt and scroll the mouse then what should happen, exactly?

Sorry for my bad english! =)
I try to explain with other words: When I select event from the sidebar they appear in the window with a preview for all events, I think that a nice feature can be the possibility to change that preview by pressing Shift+Scroll (just notice that Alt with compiz enable reduce the opacity) with another photos that are in the same events. So if you don't like the photo that showell auto-select for the event preview, you can easily change it!

Aha – now I think I understand. In the Events view, Shotwell displays a key photo for each event. Your suggestion is that if I select an event in this view and press Shift+Scroll, then Shotwell will cycle through different key photos for this event.
By the way, I hope you know that you can already change the key photo in a different way. After you open the event, you can right click any photo in the event and choose Make Key Photo for Event (“Imposta come copertina dell'evento†in Italian).

Thank you adam for the fast reply. Yes this is what I mean! :D
I know that I can change it in this way, but Shift+Scroll can be a nice feature to!
Thank you!
