Searchable id: yorba-bug-2196
Original author: Patrick Tierney
Original description:
In the preferences library text entry box, set the library directory to an invalid location such as a non-directory file, /dev/null, or a directory in which the user doesn't have permission to write. Import files into your library, being sure to copy and not make links. Shotwell displays an unhelpful dialog mentioning file or hardware error. This should display a more informative message.
Rhythmbox presents different messages depending on whether it doesn't have enough permissions to create the library, or if the library path isn't a directory.

We no longer have a preferences library text entry box, so this bug is no longer valid.
