Original description:
Hi,
since this is my first post here: thanks for developing Shotwell!
I just installed version 0.6 and noticed this bug:
File deletion (from Shotwell wastebasket to system wastebasket) does not work with custom library folders.
I set up a folder ~/Pictures_shotwell and imported some pictures, deleted them and on Shotwell restart they turn up in the Shotwell wastebasket again.
Right-click -> “show in file manager†gives:
Unable to open in file manager: Error stating file '/home/rene/Pictures/2008/03/08': No such file or directory
… so Shotwell seems to refer to the default library folder instead of the custom one.
If you need more infos to reproduce this/other stuff I forgot to mention, I'll happily provide it.
Cheers, rene

Thanks for the bug report. I can reproduce this. Actually I think this has nothing to do with the custom library folder. If I start Shotwell with the default library folder, import some photos, move them to the Trash and then empty the Trash, the photos will reappear in the Trash the next time I run Shotwell.

We need to fix this and so we'll plan to release 0.6.1 later this week.
