Original description:
To see the problem, open a photo in full-window mode. Now grab the zoom slider and slowly move it from one end to the other, moving the slider at a constant rate. You'll see that the zoom scale appears to change slowly toward the right end of the slider (i.e. when we're zoomed in a lot), but rapidly toward the left end. I think that this difference is too dramatic. More precisely, I think that moving the zoom slider by a constant amount should always multiply the zoom factor by a constant amount, no matter where we are in the scale; it seems like it doesn't work that way today.
