Make it (for example) look like this:
http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2439/37632315322d01f8b36do.png
instead of this:
http://yorba.org/static/images/shotwell/shotwell1_l.png
In IPhoto you can hover over the photo and it will show the photos in the folder. I think the above solution is more original.

@JanCBorchardt: There's no easy way to remove the 'assigned' state, but since the ticket has no owner it really doesn't matter.
