Original description:
Hi,
I'm a fan using shotwell and my wife enjoy a lot the easy way to upload picture to facebook with it.
I'm just wondering is it possible to have a way in shotwell to be called by other applications for using the publishing function ?
I'm not find it but will be good if nautilus-sendto can send request of publishing picture directly without the full interface.
I have been thinking about this since some time and I submit idea to nautilus- sendto mainteners too.
This will be very great for the next release of gnome/ubuntu as shotwell become the default application in 10.10
Let me now if I can help (I'm not software engineer, just system engineer)

Here's a possible way to address this feature request that I would like:
Allow the “Publish†feature to be used when shotwell is running in “Photo Viewer†mode, opened with files that may not be in the photo library.
