Original description:
Setup a external monitor to be aside of the primary one (not mirrored).
Press F11 to view full-screen.
Image appears correctly on the monitor, on which the program window is placed, but adjustments tool-bar appears half on one, half on the other. It's horizontally placed according to the whole width of the screen area, vertical spacing is as according to the primary screen.

I see this too: if I have 2 monitors and put Shotwell into full-screen mode, the toolbar appears in the wrong place. On my machine it's not actually split between the two monitors, but it is way off to the side. It should be centered on the full-screen monitor.

It is simply in center of the whole virtual screen. If one of your monitors has much larger resolution, it appears on side of the larger. My external is a lot smaller, therefore even when I start fullscreen mode on the external one, toolbar appears entirely on the main monitor (usually the case with projectors).
