Description
Please describe the problem: If Rhythmbox is playing a song, opening gparted (System -> Administration -> GNOME Partition Editor) causes Rhythmbox to stop playing and change to the 'Not Playing' status. This occurs during the period when gparted is showing the 'Scanning all devices...' label. Rhythmbox remains 'Not Playing' until the user presses play again.
It seems that the bug only occurs when I have a USB (mass storage) MP3 player plugged-in which has music files on it. If it is not plugged in, the bug doesn't happen.
rhythmbox 0.10.0-0ubuntu2 (Ubuntu Feisty) gparted 0.2.5-2ubuntu2 (Ubuntu Feisty)
Steps to reproduce:
- Plug-in a USB Mass Storage device with songs on it
- Play song(s) in Rhythmbox
- Open gparted
Actual results: Rhythmbox will stop playing, whether or not the song being played is on the removable volume
Expected results: Rhythmbox should not stop playing if the song being played is NOT on the removable drive
Does this happen every time? Yes
