Podcast downloads need some work

Description
The podcast interface is really great and easy to use, which is why I prefer RB for podcast listening over VLC, but lately I've been noticing some flaws.
- there is no way to re-download a corrupted file (see 3) 1/a. if there is any way to detect a corrupt file, the app is not using it. (I am not familiar with all the protocols involved so I'm not sure if this is feasible.)
- sometimes a download fails to even start due to a network error and I can't redownload it. It seems like it can't change state, not even when I cancel it.
- no way to delete downloaded episode files. There are only options for full delete and delete from list. What if I want to free up space and stream the episode?
- When a podcast file can't be played after a certain point, RB should attempt to continue playback from an online source or offer the choice to re-download.
I hope these will get resolved. If they are not a priority, I'd like to take my chances and implementing/fixing them on my own, but I don't know the codebase.
