Description
version: debian wheezy
rhythmbox-plugins is 2.90.1
Rhythmbox crashes with Clutter-Critical error
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "atk-bridge" failed to create drawable
(rhythmbox:21535): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: Unable to select the newly created GLX context
(rhythmbox:21535): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Unable to display visual effects due to Clutter init failure
(rhythmbox:21535): Gdk-WARNING **: The program 'rhythmbox' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadGC (invalid GC parameter)'. (Details: serial 165 error_code 13 request_code 60 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
If i disable the visualize plugin throug dconf-editor rb works.
And no, i'm running gnome3 in fallback mode.
The card is a nv20 but i'm running the nouveau version and not the closed source nvidia-glx-legacy-96xx drivers. Mostly due to the fact that i'm blaming thoose for frequent system hangs.
