Doc: visual overview of all Gtk widgets
To be clear: This Issue is not an order to do something now. ;) It is a place to discuss an idea. And maybe I will add the implementation of that idea to my own ToDo-List.
I know (but don't understand) that PyGObject is more then only "Gtk+3 for Python". I am only interested in the Gtk topic here.
I would like to have all gtk widgets (as screenshots) on one page. No text. When clicking on them the reader will be redirected to the correct API Reference section.
A use case example:
I am absolute new to Gtk and looking for a splitted window. In Tkinter this is called PanedWindow
. In wxWdigets, Qt, etc there are other names for it. So how can I find this? Maybe "split" in the search field will help - but maybe not. This is just an example. It would help me a lot if I could see all widgets.
In the next step I would also like to have an example Gtk application which show/use all widgets. Years ago wxWidgets had something like that.
What do you think about this ideas?
