Non-UTF-8 source file breaks localization
Modern gettext can’t generate a .pot file because src/iptcinfo.py
is encoded in the legacy ISO-8859-2 encoding instead of the standard UTF-8, as you can see on Damned Lies (https://l10n.gnome.org/module/postr/#master):
xgettext: ../src/iptcinfo.py:1: Cannot convert from "ISO-8859-2" to "UTF-8". xgettext relies on iconv(), and iconv() does not support this conversion.
ERROR: xgettext failed to generate PO template file. Please consult
error message above if there is any.
