Polari Adw.AboutWindow is missing information
Currently using Polari v43.0 on Fedora 37 and I noticed that the Adw.AboutWindow for Polari is missing crucial information, such as the name and the developer(s)/project of the app. Here is how it currently looks when you select the about dialog window.
You'll noticed under the green/white Polari logo there is nothing there, but it should include the application name and the developers or project that runs and maintains the application. Here is more information on Adw.AboutWindow conditions from the Gnome team: https://gnome.pages.gitlab.gnome.org/libadwaita/doc/main/class.AboutWindow.html
For context, the Adw.AboutWindow should show the following in order from top to bottom:
- Application icon
- Application name under the icon
- Developers of the application
- Version number of the application
So illustrate what the About Window should look like correctly, here are a few examples from Gnome Files and Gnome Software. Notice the app name and the group that maintains/supports it:
I hope this was helpful and can be fixed in a future release. Thanks for making a great little Gnome IRC chat application btw, very useful!
