Difficult or impossible to reach range limits when dragging keyframe vertically
I newly tried out Pitivi and love the look and feel a lot.
The fading in of a video seems easy to do by simply drawing a line at the beginning of the clip.
It is hard though to manage to get the start to real black, because you have to drag the marker all the way down, but it loses mouse events on leaving the clip area. If you are too fast, the marker hangs somewhere.
In other software that marker keeps getting mouse events, even if you are outside the clip area, to make sure you really hit the 0 value. That makes it way less fiddly...
Maybe that is a small change?
EDIT
Steps to reproduce:
- Run
PITIVI_DEBUG=6 pitivi
from the command line - Create a new project
- Add a video clip to the timeline
- Select the clip
- Click the yellow line to create a keyframe
- Drag the keyframe down at the middle
- Keep
Ctrl
pressed and drag the keyframe up and down, notice it's difficult to reach value 1 (top) or 0 (bottom). For example:
