Hi,
In french, "viewer" has been translated to "lecteur", whereas usually in an editing context (from analog times) it's called "moniteur"
Note that "lecteur" is not wrong but seems inadequate in an editing process. "lecteur" is more for a read-only software (VLC for intance is a "lecteur multimédia)
