Sorting order of watched items in header pane

Description
Pan 0.139 (Windows) back to 0.133.
Default sort order in header pane is threaded by start date of thread.
If a positive score is added and then the Score field used as a sort key, then the unscored (score of zero) threads are always ordered so that the oldest thread is next to the positive scored threads.
If you sort for highest score at top, then the highest unscored thread is the oldest.
If you sort for highest score at the bottom then the lowest unscored thread is the oldest.
The negative scored threads are adjacent to the newest unscored threads.
The required (by me) behaviour is the ability to have the watched threads and the most recent threads together either at the top or the bottom of the header pane.
Suggestions:
(1) Just change it (although the rest of the world might object).
(2) Add a configuration option for sorting threads containing scored posts.
(3) Add the ability to specify primary and secondary sort fields with ascending/descending order.
(4) Allow the default value for 'watch' to be set negative - this would give the sort order I want.
If I understand scoring correctly, positive scores increase the importance of a thread or post whilst negative scores decrease the importance (down to -9999 which is Ignore).
To my mind the most important threads (prior to scoring) are the most recent.
So I would expect the order to be (working from the top or bottom of the thread pane depending on personal choice) most important (watched 9999) then important (+9998 to +1) then newest -> oldest, then least important (-1 to -9998).
