Export should not be an available option if nothing will get exported

Description
Steps to reproduce:
-
Import a PDF
-
WITHOUT selecting or recognizing anything first, choose File->Export...
-
Use the resulting dialogs to specify the format, what to export ("current" or "all"), and the location.
-
Examine the resulting document(s) which contain no text because nothing was selected or recognized first. ;-)
One you become more familiar with how OCRFeeder works, you start to "know better" than to do the above. But OCRFeeder would be more approachable/intuitive if the user could not complete the above steps as described.
Possible solutions which spring to mind:
-
The "Export..." menu item would be insensitive because nothing had been selected and recognized. (i.e. stop it from happening at step 2)
-
The "Export..." menu item remains sensitive, but a message box appears to warn the user that he/she was about to get a textless result.
-
OCRFeeder detects the situation and uses the user's choice of what to export ("current" or "all") to decide what to recognize, and then recognizes those areas on behalf of the user prior to doing the export.
