Copying file names to other applications is broken
Steps to reproduce
- Select one or more files in Nautilus
- Copy or Ctrl+C the files to clipboard
- Paste in GEdit or any other text editor
Probably related to !289 (merged)
Reproducible in:
- Flatpak unstable: no (crashes at launch)
- Other: Fedora 29 GNOME nautilus 3.30.3
Current behavior
The following text is pasted:
x-special/nautilus-clipboard
copy
file:///home/jh/testfile
Expected behavior
The following text is pasted:
/home/jh/testfile
(as older versions did)
Additional information
The new behaviour may make sense if you want to edit file copy commands in gedit or something like that, but I usually want to copy file names to my IDE or to command lines, and this behaviour makes no sense there as you always need to manually remove all the boilerplate.
There is also no other "Copy Path" command.
