Erratic behavior when moving files between desktop and Nautilus window on Wayland
There is a nasty bug that I think is related to Nautilus.
To reproduce this bug, you need to be on Wayland and have desktop icons enabled.
Basically, whenever you move (i. e. drag) any file from a Nautilus window to the desktop, the file gets copied instead of being moved.
The other way around, i. e. moving files from desktop to Nautilus window, the following happens: the file does not get copied, instead the cursor permanently turns into a fist and the whole desktop becomes unresponsive. (I think this element has already been reported here:#29 (closed).)
This is strictly a Wayland issue. On Xorg the behavior is fine, as expected.
It also seems it is a drag & drop issue only. Using keyboard shortcuts to copy / cut out files works fine.
I have already experienced this issue on Fedora 26 (Gnome 3.24), it is still there on Fedora 27 and Ubuntu 17.10 (Gnome 3.26). But as I think this is highly erratic behavior, I thought it was about time to report this bug!
