pop up shows amount of 'deleted' files higher than the files in the folder selected for deletion and delete operation fails

I tried to delete a folder containing 942 items, 10,3 GB, located in a ntfs partition by pressing shift+delete. The pop up that indicates the file operation progress shown amount of 'deleted' files higher than amount of files present in the folder selected for deletion (see the screencast). When I clicked the button to abort the folder deletion, the folder selected for deletion disappeared from the file view but re-appeared when nautilus was restarted. Flatpak Nighly build gave the same problem.

Arch Linux

Gnome 3.28.2

nautilus 3.28.1-784b3eaa and nightly build
