Recursive search is not disabled in samba shares
Steps to reproduce
- Mount a big corporate samba share (~100 folders at each level)
- Navigate into the folders typing the start of their names
- Nautilus starts searching inside, which produces nothing as the share is enormous (10Tb)
Reproducible in:
- Nautilus installed in Ubuntu 18.04
Current behavior
Nautilus starts to search for files matching user input in the share, bug hangs rapidly given the large amount of files and sub directories present
Expected behavior
There should be a default fallback (or an option) if the folder is a share or a remote mount
