Intermittent Context Menu Response Issue under X11 with Files 45.2.1 on Fedora 39
I am experiencing inconsistent behavior with the context menu (right-click) in the Files application, version 45.2.1, installed on Fedora 39. Roughly one out of every three or four attempts, when I use the context menu on a file or folder to perform actions such as copy, paste, rename, or delete, the action does not occur. I have to try several times before the operation succeeds. This issue occurs exclusively under X11; I do not encounter any problems when using Wayland. However, my graphics setup is based on an Nvidia card, which necessitates the use of X11 for optimal performance.
The error message associated with this issue is as follows:
"Broken accounting of active state for widget 0x558cd5b1ec00(GtkPopoverMenu)"
This issue seems to be specifically related to the X11 environment and affects interactions with the context menu in Files.
I tried creating a new user to see if the problem was related to the /home directory. I formatted the computer, disabled all extensions and themes, but nothing worked.
