Context menu does not open on first attempt
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: No
- Other: 44.2.1 / Ubuntu 23.04
Steps to reproduce
- Open Nautilus
- In Main Menu > Preferences, set "Action to Open items" to Single click
- From the current directory, left click once on a folder icon to open a subfolder of the current directory
- Right click once in the empty area
Current behavior
Right clicking in the empty area of a folder does not open the context menu on the first attempt. The context menu does open the second time I right click in the empty area.
Expected behavior
After opening a folder by clicking once on its icon, I should then be able to right click once in the empty area to open the context menu.
Additional information
The issue only occurs when 'Action to Open items' is set to Single click. Also, the issue only occurs when navigating to a folder by selecting the folder icon. E.g. The issue does not occur if using back or forward arrows to navigate to the folder.
