Toasts interrupt normal usage by becoming the active element
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: 44.2.1 Fedora 38 Workstation
Steps to reproduce
- Start a large file copying/moving procedure that takes a little time to complete
- Bring up the renaming dialogue for any folder/file, or use the "New folder" dialogue
- Once the file transfer is complete, the toast will pop up
Current behavior
The toast will become the active element and interrupt the other dialogues and text entry. It takes keyboard input from other active elements and needs the user to click on the text box again. If the user is in the middle of typing, using arrow keys to move the cursor, or anything like that, they will be interrupted as the X on the toast seems to be the new selected element.
Expected behavior
The toast should just pop up in the background and not interrupt what the user is trying to do.
